| | Thanks, but I’ve learned that it’s often a good idea to be ready for things to be pretty bad. This is especially true when I get called down here; the only place on this floor where a psychologist would find work is the emergency ward.
And that means that at best, I’ll need to treat somepony who is experiencing a mental breakdown or a drug induced psychotic episode. On a good day, I’ll be able to help the patient get over their crisis and then refer them to another psychologist that they can see on a regular basis. On a really bad day, I’ll be going to bed with the old mariner. Not the best way to deal with stress, but it does the job. | |
