Shopping, code, comments and comics
Posted on February 8th, 2010
This morning began with an impromptu trip to the grocery store as we needed cat food. We ended up buying a number of things we needed as well as sandwiches for lunch.

Shortly after lunch I started a thread on UF about which programming language should be used for a project. The only distinction between the two choices is the size of the binary and my familiarity with the two options. This turned out to be an involved discussion and revealed some (slightly disturbing) oddities about the two compilers.

I spent part of the evening wrapping up the last comic and uploading them.

The remainder of the day was spent trying to get a Windows version of one of the compilers being discussed installed and working. I eventually succeeded; the main issue being a Windows problem rather than a compiler issue. MS never could follow a standard.

Lastly, here's why you should never, ever, EVER consider robbing a donut shop.
