|Yesterday when I was wrapping up Din I noticed some differences in the way Free Pascal works. Because of this, I spent the day reworking Necros Cavern to make sure it works with the current version of FPC. In effect, this amounted to removing workarounds; previously the CRT unit didn't work under Linux, so you had to use a workaround called nCRT. This is no longer needed, so the Linux-specific code was removed.
The evening was spent improving my code for managing sound using the SDL library and getting it working on the GP2X.
Now that everything is ready, I'm going to dive in to several new development projects. Playpen is still go, but it's the most complex of the projects I'm planning. In all likelihood it's probably safer (and saner) to put it off for now while I get these easier projects underway. Start small and build up after all.
Last night I went to bed at 11:00 PM and didn't fall asleep until 4:30 AM. I'm hoping tonight is going to go better. I can't function well on ~5 hours of sleep!
