|From the sound of things, I'm glad I slept in this morning.
I spent today figuring out various things and attempting to move my projects along. One thing I noticed was that regardless of how much space variables use or how big the program's executable is Winders will just assign it about 1.5 MB of RAM. That's over 1,000,000 bytes more than required. Kinda defeats the point of trying to declare as little memory as needed.
One point of my day was a little unexpected. Mom showed me how to cook her mac and cheese recipe and I assisted her in fixing it. Hence the chef's hat and apron icon.
In other news, there's yet more stuff to click on today.
First up is an article stating that scientists may finally know what role the appendix plays. If this is correct, then modern life renders it redundant.
Just in case you haven't had enough of programming language holy wars, I found a page that explains why Pascal is better than C. This list is just silly and not very factual, so even normal people should find it humorous.
The fires in Cali are quite a problem for the residents. The San Diego Zoo is holding out amid the flames. Animal ain't stupid, as this event shows.
Sometimes people need a reality check. Whatever the reason is, there is a reality checkpoint in Cambridge, England.
And now for two videos. Snowball isn't a robin, but he sure is rockin' as he dances to the beat. The other video is Lewis Carrol's Jabberwocky performed by Muppets.
