|Today began with my visit to the dentist. To the surprise of myself and my mom, I manged to have no cavities. That's after a month of drinking Mountain Dew and snarfing candy.
The rest of the day was spent working on a new idea. I've been having some trouble with the roguelike and after hours of fuss, I came up with an idea of how to fix it. This is basically a case of changing some of the goals for the project in favor of making things work. Naturally, it means starting over with the code, but things are really moving quickly now.
I also did a small amount of work on Fur and Faith, though I'm not kidding about only doing a small amount.
Interesting things I found online today include:
A man that lost his dog, and an email that claimed he was evil star in this article. Someone lied that the cops claimed he was a threat, proving that "I saw it on the net, it must be true!" still isn't just a phrase.
Someone left a brain near an apartment complex today, baffling just about everyone. To my knowledge Igor has not been reported missing.
Despite the fact that most "revamped" 1980s TVs and movies are crusty turds, Mel Brooks is going to relaunch SpaceBalls as an animated show. "God willing we all meet again in SpaceBalls 2: The Search for More Money" -- Yogurt.
Speaking of money, here's a blog page talking about the world's largest swimming pool.
Lastly there's talk of pulling several Democrats out of the primary in states that decided to schedule the primary on a date that's not allowed according to party rules. Of all the things to get one's knickers in a twist over, it's the schedule. Not the platform or issues or even Iraq.
