||Today was quite the prick

|This morning got off to a bit of a rough start, but things settled down after the first 30 minutes of the day. I needed to get some routine bloodwork done, so I did that first thing. After all, I need to have abstained from both food and my medications for 12 hours prior to getting stuck and it's best to get that fasting over with promptly. The interesting bit about getting poked was that the nurse used a butterfly needle (pictured here) instead of a regular hypodermic needle. This is especially amusing because I habitually asked for this type of needle when I was little.
After that mom and I poked around the local ACME. It's been about a decade since I last walked through that store, so I wasn't sure about what all they carry. We picked up hot fried chicken and joes from the deli for lunch.
The evening was spent writing a page for Fur and Faith. I also added several outlines describing other pages, but held off on actually writing them.
Most of the rest of the day was spent prodding KuiperHack one way or another. I ended up deciding to make each part as a stand alone dummy program and work from there. I only managed to get one of the dummy programs working. Once they are all done I can use them as blueprints for the final product.
Pretty much the only other thing that's worth mentioning today is the LiveJournal drama I posted about earlier. If'n you're looking for things to click on, head over to that post for a classic video on YouTube.
