|We got off to a late start this morning and thus decided to have lunch on the way to the store rather than afterward. As I was frozen, I ordered a bowl of hot chili in addition to the Reuben. Consider that a warning folks: chili + sauerkraut = agent orange.
Shopping went pretty well, and both mom and myself weren't as tired or stressed as usual after we got home. Eating first might work better than eating after it seems.
The rest of the day was fairly uneventful. I spent the day thinking about stuff and working on Din's GUI. It's now at the point where it can be practically tested. As such I wrote a small Din program that does just one thing: when you click on its window it draws a little circle around the spot you clicked on. This confirms the event handler and graphics system is working. Granted, it's rather unstable and extremely easy to crash, so there's a lot to be done.
Part of the day was naturally spent playing Pokemon. S.S. Anne is the next target, with the starter close to evolving for the last time.
The Advent Calendar continues.
Link of the day: Carol of the Old Ones.
