Open door, get cancer
Posted on October 7th, 2008
The day began just as I said it would. Mom and I trucked over to the local clinic to get the blood work done first thing this morning. The visit involved the usual form filling and poking around. On the way back to the lobby I noticed that the door adjacent to the door leading to the lobby had a huge radiation hazard warning on it, complete with the word RADIATION in yellow and red print below it. Now this was probably the radiology room, but my first thought was simply "Open door, get cancer" followed swiftly by "Open door, get superhuman powers".

From there we went to a local grocery store we typically never stop in. The main reason for stopping was for some of their deli fried chicken and joes, but these turned out to be unavailable. So we poked around the store looking at stuff.

Lunch was stuff from the store: two tiny Red Baron pizzas, cheese doodles and a diet choke. While yes, this did blow the diet it probably was less of a blow than the fried chicken meal was gonna be. I figure I don't get my blood drawn every day, so a splurge would work fine.

The rest of the day was spent working on Project Rainbow and Metal.

Today's link is a little animation about a bunny.
