Doctor Day
Posted on October 6th, 2008
I spent my free time today fussing over Metal. Overall it's looking good, but naturally it's no where near done. I've found the source of the incredibly slow starts; it's not the program. It's either the runtime antivirus or the runtime antispyware gumming up the works. As the slow loads only happen when the program is freshly compiled, they are probably scanning it before allowing it to run.

Highlight of the day was a trip to the doctor's. We learned that mom's problem isn't gallbladder. It's serious acid indigestion. We visited both the pharmacy and the grocery store next. We picked up a number of things, including a stuffed tiger for the maintenance guy's grandson.

On the way home we saw him walking in the parking lot and stopped for a chat. So we bought the tiger and handed it over within an hour. Fast gift giving.

The only other news of the day was that my Z-bots arrived.

Tomorrow we're going to see if I can get some blood work done.

For today's link have a unique church.
