|Naturally my day was spent working on Din. Fortunately I've reached the part where the end is in sight. Most of what remains is just touch ups and proofreading.
During the afternoon I picked up some packages from the office. Mr. Can't-be-bothered-to-buzz dropped off one of our orders. This was some new bedding: a foam pad and pillow for my bed and some sheets for mom's. Since I've lost weight I no longer fit the grooves I've worn in the mattress, making things uncomfortable. Flipping the mattress didn't improve the situation.
Also, I got a bit of scuttlebutt from the landlord. A month or so ago corporate sent a woman to run the place. She was one step over the landlord's head. She quit. Fast turnover.
Mom spent the day kind of sick. She's figuring it's a case of too much grease. After all we've been hitting McDonald's a lot and the menu for the past couple of days was homemade greasy sloppy joes and fries.
I came across a new comic the other day, and poked at its archives during short breaks from Din. Unfortunately it ended up losing the funny, opting for sleaze.
Lastly, here's a link to a site that asks what Google's homepage would look like if it had been designed for Google's search engine. This is also proof that you need to make sites for PEOPLE, not PROGRAMS.
With that, I'm going to try the new bedding.
