|Today we did the biweekly shopping. Lunch was McDonald's again. I'm sure y'all have heard of the documentary "super size me". You know, the one that showed that you get fat if you pig out all day? I'm still losing weight (down to 203 pounds) and I'm eating at Micky D's. Just goes to show that a little planning goes a long way.
The rest of my day was spent working with either Din or Project Rainbow. I made several edits to and wrote more of the site the former and re-did one of the puppets for the latter. It figures that the priss's hair requires more steps to position than any of the other characters.
I also spent a little time doing some backing up. This was mainly so that I could get stuff off of the desktop.
The big news of the day is that Congress put the $700,000,000,000 bailout plan in the circular file. That's right: the $700B Bailout for the rich is DOA. So Uncle Sam can't get his Viagra after all.
The best comment I've seen on the issue is this two liner:
"nearly one trillion dollars to bail out the richest people in the world.
Meanwhile the same administration found the entire state of Louisiana to be expendable."
And now for something completely different. G'night.
