|Din has a way to go. The current focus is cleaning up the lengthy core library file by splitting it into many smaller chunks. This requires a complete redo of various runtime and loading functions, so it's rather slow going. The goal is that once it's all done it will be far easier to deal with and expand. Also, once in place module handling can be improved very easily as well. Overall, this should streamline the code and the program itself.
Yoshi's Island DS arrived this afternoon. Naturally enough I've been playing it on and off since it arrived. It takes off just about where the SNES game left off. Although I think they left a window open for a sequel: where's baby Waluigi and baby Daisy? It would probably be pushing it to include them however; they're just day players in the Mario series.
One bit of bad news I forgot to mention yesterday was that using the cycle made my arm flare again. Apparently it's not healed yet, so once again the cycle gets dropped from the routine. I was reading online that it typically takes injuries like mine 4 to 6 weeks to heal. It's only been a week.
Today's links include this sadistic (yet funny) video I've nicknamed Cock-a-doodle-BANG and a hilarious story about a Operation Readiness Inspection that went differently than expected.
