|I spent the majority of the day working on Project Sailor and resizing pictures. I managed to get Sailor going pretty well; I just need to hope MySQL is behaving when I try the next step. Granted, that's like hoping Princess Toadstool avoids getting kidnapped. On the plus side, today I finished resizing all of the 20,000 images I spent July downloading from the chan boards. In the end, I crammed 2.81 GB into 989 MB.
In other news I'm going to take a gamble and try my luck with ebay. A reliable seller that I used to order stuff from all of the time has a lot of stuff up for auction. Everything in the lot is on my shopping list, so I've placed a decent bid. If I get outbid it won't be the end of the world; the stuff I'm bidding on is omnipresent on ebay (just not usually all in one auction). I've decided that since I'm sprucing up my room I should get all of the accessories for one of the more interesting toys I have on display. I bought the toy from this seller years ago, but it was without any of its accessories, and really kinda looks like it's missing stuff. I'm not throwing everything at this auction: if my new book turns out to be useful I'll see about getting more books on the subject. The auction has 2 days to go; historically I get sniped in auctions like this, so I might have set myself up for failure. We'll see.
Tomorrow evening we'll be visiting the buffet and visiting with the family, so I doubt I'll be working on much.
