Modular solutions
Posted on August 21st, 2008
I spent most of the day working with Din. The biggest problem with Din, namely module handling, has finally been solved. Now modules can access any variable type and return any variable type. Over all, modules are about 3/5 the speed of the built in functions, which is still pretty good (and still downright unbelievably fast compared to PHP).

I did work a little on Sailor also. Mostly I did some templating.

The main topic of the day's discussions is one of our friends and if she's losing her marbles. Overall, it's looking like there's some short term memory loss or other confusion. Around this time last year she had a stroke; while tests showed no damage, something has apparently happened.

Tomorrow some or all of the new furniture will arrive. My room transforms a little every day now it seems.

Links for today:
I meant to post this yesterday but went right past the bookmark: Meet Yoda, the Four Eared Cat.

Homeland Insecurity did it again

Food Porn Daily. Click, drool, repeat. Worksafe obviously.

Resistance is futile: My Little Borg Drone.

Lastly Five things we don't miss about back-in-the-day's computers. Unfortunately, a few of these still apply.
