Very busy day
Posted on August 17th, 2008
Our offer of the dressers was taken up by the neighbors downstairs. The morning was spent emptying the drawers and packing everything away.

In the afternoon, their whole family dropped by to move the furniture. Naturally, their toddler went straight for the cats, who darted to safety in mom's bedroom. The maintenance guy was rather quick: using a simple dolly, he moved the dressers and hutch in less time than it took for the moving company to get them in my room!

They also opted to take the pictures and shield.

As a result, my room's pretty darn open. My bed is now against the wall where the dressers were, and we've ordered bookcases for the other walls. We looked at desks and tables to replace the old worn desk I've been using and didn't find anything off hand.

I spent the evening working with Din.

It seems early, but I'm exhausted; the fact I've had to struggle to compose this short entry is highlighting that quite well. Tomorrow may or may not involve errands; I'm hoping for "may" as I'll be getting the new dumbbells (among other things).

I came across today's link when I went looking for bizarre comments in source code via Google. Koders is a source code search engine. Try obscenities to find some goofy comments.
