Regrouping

Today started off with a trip to the health food store. Aside from picking up more Amish chicken, we also took a look at the flowers they had for sale. Those flowers were not in good health and drastically overpriced, so we trundled up to a nearby nursery where we bought a new flower to replace the now dead geranium. With that, the balcony's greenery is restored, and for a total cost that's cheaper than any one of the flowers the health food store was selling.

On the way out to run this errand, mom and I stopped and talked to some of the staff about the dog situation and other gossip.

Some time after lunch mom and I went around and around about the dogs and their owners. It took awhile, but things got straightened out more or less: there's almost certainly two boxers here.

I spent my day thinking about projects Metal and Phoenix. Metal seems to be running itself into a brick wall. Effectively it would be a toy, not a game, and nobody gives two sheets about a toy. The more I mulled over it, the more I think an older plan would work. Phoenix's plans simply altered the original goal only a little bit. The presentation of the project is different, but the project itself is not.

Obviously I paused in my thinking to complete the rambling post about the wedding.

Today's only link is a delicious carnival of what the frosting?!
