What a day
Posted on August 28th, 2007
This morning was a heavy dose of stereotype fun. Namely, dad sent me and mom to the hardware store to pick up a few things. Hilarity conserning the old jokes about a woman in a hardware store ensued. I wasn't much help, since I didn't know what dad wanted at all. Hopefully the stuff we got will be useful in some way.

We then visited Wal*Mart for cat food and random things. On entering the store one of the 50¢ rides blasted the famous horse racing theme. I remarked that was probably the last song I'd expect to hear at a Wal*Mart, but I was corrected a few minutes later when the store's overhead speaker played Glad I've got Jesus.

For lunch we stopped at the Hunan carryout. I really loaded up with beef sticks, fried wontons, fried dumplings, chicken nuggets and teriyaki chicken.

This afternoon we visited a nearby store we'd never visited. They had lots of goodies, though the ice cream they carry isn't as good as the same flavor sold at the grocery store.

There has also been a nibble on the real estate end of things, so tomorrow might get interesting.

I spent most of the day working on Fur and Faith's troubles. I think I have a solution, but it needs some ironing out before it'll be ready to use. Hopefully I can do something about that tomorrow.

Lastly I'm starting to get too tired to write, so I'll quit while I'm ahead and post the remaining details sometime in the future.
