|Today was pretty much another day of drugging the cat, working on Din and Necros Cavern and surfing the internet. Except for one thing: I took my blood pressure and it was 131/93. No idea why: it's been over a week since we ate out, and I've stuck to the diet otherwise. The best guess is stress as the cat's troubles and the trips to the vet are taxing and worrisome. I took it again right after my daily workout (weight lifting + 10 minutes of cardio) and it was 133/87. Yep, that's right: the diastolic dropped 6 points when my heart rate was up. That seems to be the opposite of what should've happened.
In other news, nobody threw up today.
Three topics in the news are worth noticing today. All three are about strange people.
A man found a fly in his water. This scarred him for life, so he sued the company that bottled the water. This case was thrown out today. Another article with slightly different info is here.
Next topic: the polygamy cult that's been in the news. A judge ruled that the state had no right to take the kids. For added fun, it seems the entire hoopla is in error. Just peachy.
Lastly, there's a case about whether or not chimpanzees should be granted human rights.
