|I slept late (as I somewhat had expected). During that time my parents made a trip to the bird store. They picked up a humming bird feeder, a fancy bug/seed/suet feeder, parts for a new stand with four hooks and some humming bird juice. I spent the early part of my day setting this up. Shortly after I setup the new feeders, we noticed that they weren't visible from the kitchen window like we'd expected. So I exchanged the top sections of the two stands. The original bird feeder is now in front of the kitchen window and the new feeders are in front of the living room. Everything's easier to see now, though this rearrangement had a side effect. All three male finches went ballistic. The females had the right idea: they just helped themselves to seed while the males re-confirmed the pecking order.
The remainder of my day was spent coding or working out how to go about it. I came up with a prototype for Project Sailor's innards, and a simplified variant of Din's DinLoadUtils.pp file. I spent a lot of time looking Din over to see how to add a feature I've decided it should have and discovered something. About 73% of the code needs either rewritten from scratch or edited to include this new feature. In any event, Din will be changing to some degree as it matures.
Three links to start the new week off:
Here's a new twist in gardening. Once you build this little device, your household plants can send you instant messages like "H2O PLZ" and "THNX" and the ever popular, "FEED ME SEYMOUR" .
This next link is to a YouTube video that shows the creation of a nice picture. The medium is BBQ ribs. Ya might be a redneck artist if...
Lastly, here's some silly cats.
