|Yesterday I made the to-do list, so today I focused on checking off things listed on it. I managed to check several things off of the list, including: fixing the usericon list for this blog, finishing the software for the PC Project and tweaking the backend for the new version of Fur and Faith.
One of the other UFies had their computer hacked. This prompted me to run some security checks and benchmarks. As expected, no problems.
In other news my hands are breaking up again. This time around the palms are fine, it's the sides and back of the hand that's involved. Dad took one look at it and remarked that it looked like psoriasis. That happens to be what the arthritis doctor thought I may have. That explains a lot of the stranger bits of my physiology.
I collected a lot of interesting links today. First up is a neat phenomena that lance_foxx was talking about called Earthquake lights. People made home videos of the recent quake in Peru, and several of these videos caught this weird effect! Check out video 1 and video 2!
A recent news story claims that we're getting fatter because we think "it's normal to be fat". Another claims that a virus is the reason we're fat. My bet's on stuff like this.
Since that last link probably hardened the hearts of those reading this blog, here's a little something to melt it.
Lastly, I'm a member of the World Community Grid. Today a new project has been added. My computer has fought AIDS, Muscular Dystrophy and Cancer in the past. Now it joins the fight against West Nile Virus and it's relatives.
