Easter Eve
Posted on March 22nd, 2008
Today began with a trip to the bird house store. Literally: I'd just roused up when mom asked if I wanted to go with them. We picked up a pole to mount the bird feeder we previously purchased upon and returned home. Shortly thereafter we had lunch.

Not long after that I took a short nap.

The rest of the day was spent coding. I coded most of the required units with no trouble. Then as I worked on yet another unit I discovered that the direction the code was going invalidated everything I coded today. I guess I'll try again tomorrow. Such are the troubles of building a product while you design it.

The neighbors were a bit on the noisy side today. Their kids were screaming and/or crying about something at 11:20 PM. They seem to have lassoed their spawn into bed at the moment though, so hopefully things will stay quiet. Yesterday the kids went to bed at 9:00 PM or so. However, someone was taking a shower at 1:00 AM. Why on Earth would a guy need to shower at 1:00 AM?

...on second thought don't answer that.

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday. Yesterday Jesus died for our sins, and after spending today in His grave He will rise up tomorrow morning as a fluffy pink rabbit that hides colored eggs! (Isn't that how it goes?)

While most of the candy is dandy, the scourge of Easter baskets is the infamous Marshmellow Peeps. Naturally people have developed ways to deal with this sugary horror.

Even more naturally, it's on YouTube.

Lastly there's the old staple The Easter Bunny Hates You. Bunny be evil!
