|So today was the Superbowl. Not that I really care as I don't care much for watching or following sports or even TV.
My day was spent trying to work out a solution to a problem faced by the PC Project. In the end I came up with a slightly kludgy fix, though I have yet to finish coding it.
I spent more time looking over Kuiperhack's various notes and finally have a decent conclusion. Solomon's wisdom reigns again. Since Kuperhack is straining badly to be a merge of two rather disparate games I decided to terminate the Kuiperhack project and use the parts to build two separate games, nicknamed Project Gold and Project Metal. Perhaps now something will finally come of the Kuiperhack.
In other news I've decided to tackle Zelda I. I've never beaten it, so this should be interesting. After having trouble right from the start, I checked some online FAQs about various things. Notably I found that this game does not have a special ending sequence for beating it without dying. Thus I can stop worrying about that. And yes, some games -- including some games in the Zelda series -- do have special easter eggs if you clear them without losing a life. In the meantime it's just a pain in the hylian.
In other news, an Earth-like planet has been discovered right next door.
