Batteries needing recharged
Posted on September 23rd, 2012
This morning began with a trip to the bird store for yet more bird seed. It seems like we never have enough anymore. After that was a trip over to Target for some random things. Among those were Lean Cuisines that the grocery store appears to be phasing out and some additional hot cereal for my evening snack. It's like there's a shortage of Coco Wheats lately. This is the third attempt to find a box, and it's also come up empty. We got some Cream of Wheat, which might tide me over for a while.

Our last stop was Toys R' Us, which turned out to be a good bit of luck. They had the large giftset in stock, though I opted not to get it. $50 seemed a bit steep considering that I'm not really crazy about most of the ponies in the set (two of which can be bought separately). More importantly though, they had Zecora in stock! She's quite the hot potato in the Pony line right now, so I quickly bought one.

The rest of the day was spent fussing over one thing or another while rather buzzed from the Mt. Dew I had with lunch. Over all progress was made: I checked some stuff in progress for The Notebook and figured out how to code Poser pz2 files to set materials and morph toggles.

Most of the past hour though was spent fussing over the UPS, which was clicking away and beeping randomly. I end up hooking it up to the old laptop to run the thing's control software to find out what is bother it so much. Turns out the electricity isn't staying stable; it's dropping out, then coming back a few milliseconds later. It's probably just some linework being done in the neighborhood.

The link for the day is a quiet afternoon with Rarity and Fluttershy.
