Lots of boomies
Posted on July 4th, 2012
When it wasn't thundering, things were pretty quiet today. I spent most of it fussing over what I could as the storms did knock me off the computer every so often.

I've basically completed an update for The Notebook, but I still need to go back over everything and add what polish is needed.

During the storms I either played some Kirby or did a little reading. Over the course of the day, I ended up reading Heraldry: Its Origins and Meaning from start to finish.

In other news, I came up with a way to make the rabbit hole an actual, coherent project. However, this begs the question of whether I should even do so. There's quite a bit on my plate as is, and I'm not sure this is an idea to follow through on. Among other things, I smell an old trap, and so I think I'll get some second opinions before doing anything about that. I did note that search engines can't really handle the rabbit hole's current design and that nobody else is even going there. If I do swap it out for a new project, nobody is going to care. Another ding against it is that part of the reason I went with Javascript was because I wanted to get the stuff working on my DS if I could. Simply put, the DS really doesn't handle the rabbit hole worth anything either, so that idea fell flat.

Netflix wise, I've finished up the old 1940s Superman shows and moved on to the 1960s Spiderman show. I have to admit, it's pretty hokey. Among other things, his Spider Sense is quite slow in this incarnation. Normally in the comics and other cartoons it warns Spiderman of danger before it happens.

The link for today is a short animation about True Wuv and a hyperactive pooch.
