||Everything and the kitchen sink

|Yesterday evening the kitchen sink became stopped up badly enough that we weren't able to fix it ourselves. Thus today we had a plumber out here to fix it.
I ended up sleeping in atypically late; I just needed the extra few hours it seems. Naturally, this meant today was over kinda fast from my point of view.
There wasn't time to cook the originally planned dinner since the plumbers left around 4:30 PM, so instead we picked up Subway.
After dinner dad and I fought with the wireless repeater he'd ordered. The idea is that the new bluray player SHOULD be able to play Netflix in the living room. However, it seems to have trouble picking up the wireless signal. Hence the repeater. I finally got the repeater set up and configured, but the player couldn't see Netflix even with its help.
I found out a little bit ago that several sites -- Netflix included -- had been knocked offline by the thunderstorms that passed us by earlier in the day. Perhaps that's all that's wrong. If not, I'm going to bring the player upstairs directly next to the modem and see if it connects. Note that none of our computers or other wireless devices have an issue with the connection: JUST that player.
In other news, I haven't been feeling good lately, and it shows as I didn't get anything done today.
The link for today is a full six minutes of stuff getting destroyed in slow motion.
