|Today was a bit scattered on my end. I spent most of it thinking of ways to make the flubb with the 3D models I picked up yesterday work out somehow. And really didn't get anywhere. DAZ Studio is simply not going to work out for me; I discovered that much of the stuff I have doesn't work with it well, and some stuff doesn't work in DAZ period.
A few hours ago I looked through the online store I'd purchased them from and discovered they do give refunds if the content doesn't work for you. Thus I've sent in a ticket for a refund for that purchase. I honestly don't expect one; as it's a download, I can't see how that would work barring some serious trust that the customer deleted the files.
Regardless, there are some other models I could use for that same purpose. If I do get a refund, that's what I'll get with the refunded money.
In other news, I did some work on The Notebook earlier, though there's still a lot to do. The two day side trek with the 3D stuff slowed me down a bit.
I ended the day quietly watching Beast Wars on Netflix. Assuming of course that everything getting blown to slag counts as "quiet". I think I'll play a little on Facebook and turn in.
The link for the day is a little song that's been stuck in my head for two days now. I'm not entirely sure why, though I suspect that CastleVille's theme is triggering the memory.
