||It was bound to happen sooner or later

|Today began way early thanks to me going to bed early. Lots of things happened today that were of interest.
The first thing to note is that DFO is running smoothly again; Nexon posted during the night on the subject and provided an update during mid-morning. This still freaks out AVG, though it's proven to be a false positive and instructions for letting it bypass AVG are provided now. In related news my last Priest is now an Exorcist. "The power of Christ compels you!" *THWACK*!
Another thing that happened today, which is probably one of the signs of the coming apocalypse, is that I finally joined Facebook. 90% of the reason behind this is because mom is on it and the games looked like fun. Also, there are a few I can play with her, which is a bonus.
Project-wise, things could have been better. I managed to get The Notebook's revamp underway despite some troubles with mom's laptop and I also fussed over some things with DBHL's revamp. Unfortunately, the latter resulted in a bad surprise that I'll need to see about fixing. The best fix I can think of is to redraw a few dozen images. You see, while older versions of Firefox, current versions of Konqueror, IE, Chrome, Iron, Opera and even Dillo display single images on a white background, the newest Firefox uses a black background. So dark color on a transparent background (which has always worked everywhere) is now impossible to see on the new Firefox. The solution is to add a thin white line around the design, and this requires re-drawing the image from scratch.
The link for the day is a little music video: Dear Princess Celestia...
