|The main goal of the day was to re-write some of the tutorials for DBHL, and I managed to get that wrapped up this evening. None of the new pictures are done, but that can be easily handled later.
Today went a little differently than usual. Instead of running errands before lunch, we ran them afterwards. Our first stop was the bird food store for a thistle feeder. Good timing: they are currently having a sale where buying any feeder nets you 10 pounds of food free.
After that we stopped at Target, as I wanted to look at tablet computers and scanners in person before I committed to buying any of them. After all, size isn't always apparent online. They only had the iPad, which was a nice size but a rather hefty price tag. Scanner wise, nothing particularly stood out.
The real find was that they were carrying Filly Princess again! Actually, they might have carried it last time. You see, there was a blind bag for a different brand laying on the box of Filly blind bags. It's was the same color and had similar designs, so a quick glance makes it look like the entire box is for this other brand. After putting that blind bag back where it belonged, I snapped up 10 Filly blind bags.
On the way home we stopped at the local market for treats and dinner ideas.
Once we were home, I munched on a rice crispy treat and a huge cookie while I opened the blind bags and added the new stickers to my collector's book. I now have one variant of each of the Filly Princesses! I also need to do something about the shelf space; I'm quickly running out of it.
The rest of the day was spent fussing over a program idea I had. I eventually got it working, but it took more tries and a few breaks to get it to work as expected.
In other news, I figured out how to get mom's all-in-one printer to scan to an SD card, rendering the whole tablet pc/scanner issue moot. I now just need some decent paper and a clipboard for a good drawing surface, and I'm good to go.
I also played a little DFO this evening, though my newest Priest is still very low level as I didn't play enough to get him to his subclass quests.
Lastly, the link for the day is about a heartwarming story brought to us by Marvel comics.
