Sleepy day
Posted on August 10th, 2007
Lately I've been taking a lot of naps. These naps last a couple of hours each, so and I'm getting about nine hours of sleep a night. My sleeping pattern is all buggered up. I'm not sure if it's just that I'm out of sync with my own sleeping pattern or if it's just that I'm catching up on sleep I didn't get during the move or both.

Either way it slows things down a bit. I spent a fair amount of time on Fur and Faith today; though most of the pages I created or edited are only drafts. I've yet to start moving the rants to the new system though. I may begin that process tomorrow.

Earlier today I discovered somethings were missing, leading to a silly and very true set of remarks. You know you're a geek when missing toys is still a crisis when you're over 20 years old. Of course, you know you're a series geek when one of the missing toys is worth $70. I eventually found them, so crisis averted.

Today's journeys around the series of tubes yielded a couple of amusing links.

First off there's another Harry Potter Puppet Pals skit, called Trouble at Hogwarts.

After the bat paid us a visit a couple of days ago stuff like this are a good source of humor.

One of the links that has been going around lately is just so wrong it's funny. Enable flash and turn your sound up to understand why you should Fear the Gay Chicken.

Another fancy site uses Javascript to show us how the world would've been created if god was as skilled with computers as the average user.

Lastly something important in the IT world happened today. SCO lost their stupid lawsuit after trying the court's patience for four years. Hooray for common sense!
