||Pony, puzzles and pwning

|As per usual, today was spent doing things other than working on my projects. Most of the focus fell onto three things: DFO, Blocks that Matter and My Little Pony.
In DFO I focused on finishing up some quests, including a rather lengthy one in Scoria Core. Nothing too exciting, but it moves the game along just as well.
I was going to play some Serious Sam this weekend, but after I started to poke around the first level I just really wasn't interested. I guess games like Borderlands have spoiled me; the lack of critical hit spots seemed to take some of the fun out of it. So instead I opted for a more relaxing game called Blocks That Matter. It's a puzzle platformer, and I've made it about halfway through the game's story.
Most of the evening was spent watching the My Little Pony season 2 finale with mom. In the end, both of us felt it wasn't that great. The big problem comes from the sudden introduction of Cadance and Shining Armor; they come out of nowhere, play havok with the understood background of the main character of the show and then get nearly all of the spotlight, leaving our mane 6 out to dry. The other major problem was pacing; this really should have been a full length movie so they had time to handle all of the material they wanted to include.
I wrapped up the day clearing up my DA messages.
I'll end the day with a catchy tune from Japan. The tune is nice, but the video is pretty unsettling.
