King for a day
Posted on April 11th, 2012
Today began a bit earlier than expected, as I woke up around 6:30 AM. I spent the earliest part of the day playing Jewel Quest and Neopets, as I simply wasn't ready to get up and go (or rather, get up and write a bunch). The actual day began a few hours later with the biweekly grocery shopping.

However, today being my 28th orbit around the sun, we stopped at the old Hunan carry out to pick up lunch and dinner. By the time we were home, had lunch and put away the groceries, it was late afternoon.

The rest of the afternoon was taken up by me tossing ideas about while playing Jewel Quest and Neopets.

Instead of going for a pizza and movie night, we went with a Hunan and movie night. The movie was ROBOT, a Bollywood film that I picked up on DVD months ago and never got around to watching. Lots of sudden breaks into musical numbers; kinda West Side Story-ish. I know Bollywood is famous for its music and choreography, but I wasn't expecting an action flick to have that much dancing! Really good movie; while the net paints it as an action oriented movie with lots of explosions and crazy over the top stunts, it's more of a very thought provoking look at what makes us human by contrasting us with a machine made to mimic humanity.

What was left of the day was largely spent surfing the net or playing games a little more. Oh, and dealing with a squirting nosebleed that came out of nowhere while I was reading stuff online.

The link for the day is a wonderful case of over-analysis: The Ghostbusters are horrible people.
