|Today's efforts ended up begin spent four ways. First, I did more work on the blog script and site. Everything's done save for the stuff I need more info from Sourceforge to do. The next thing I worked on was some ideas of how to implement an idea I had for Background Service. After a lot of fuss, I ended up getting only partially where I was going. I guess the features I want aren't available with the tools I'm using (or I just didn't do something right).
Another thing that took up time was helping around the house; mom's having more trouble than ever, so I helped where I could instead of mucking about on the computer.
The only other thing I did today was work on remaking the obsidian generator in Terraria. After many tries and a lot of checking on the wikis, I finally managed to get a self-sustaining reaction going. This generator provides funding for my mining via sticky bombs. I've filled two chests with raw gooey explosive, so I should be set for some crazy mining. I was thinking, I should have Emo construct a nice, safe munitions depot under the base so I can store these easier.
Lastly, check out this video from Google. Dragon Warrior meets Google Maps. This is probably just an April fools joke, but for people like me that grew up on the Dragon Warrior (aka Dragon Quest) games, this is just AWESOME.
