|Current Status of all of my projects
After seeming to never get off the ground, BrickVM is finally starting to gain momentum. The instruction set is not yet complete, but the terminal simulation code seems to be ready to go. The terminal's font needs some tweaking, but that's expected for an alpha stage project.
This project seems to get redesigned on a regular basis. However, the current design plan seems to stand for itself. There are now a number of prototype programs that test code and ideas that will be used in the game, and all of the prototype code works. In order to move this project ahead, a new project was started.
This is the project that was started to spearhead KuiperHack. As it's a much simpler game serious bugs and glitches are easier to detect and correct. It's a trial run before the real deal. Currently version 0.9 is released for Windows and Linux, and a Win32 GUI port is nearing completion. Next up for this project is the RC1 version of the textmode game, which will fix some bugs and provide some better visuals.
Most of this year's design effort was spent on this project. After countless redesigns, the project is slowly moving forward. The main slowdown at the moment is that other projects are currently being focused on.
This project is a combination of a few older projects that couldn't find their legs. At the moment, no name has been decided upon for it. Most of the support graphics and HTML design have been created.
Fur and Faith
Since it was restarted in October, the site has been plugging along at a semi-constant pace. Recently I've been in more of a programming mood than a writing mood, hence the slowdown for this project.
