||On to coding

|The main task of the day was to get some coding done for Din. Per usual, I wrote a bunch of code, deleted it and started over several times. The result is a unit that will tokenize a line of source code neatly and quickly.
During the evening I putzied around with different things. I knocked a few more titles off the games list and poked at a few others on the list. In DFO I created a new Fighter, who will be a Striker.
The last few hours have been spent deliberating over whether or not to upgrade the graphics card on this machine or buy a new computer or just continue as is. One of the things that came up when discussing options on UF was that there was likely still a warranty of some sort on this machine. I went to see how to register this computer and discovered that there IS a warranty covering it and it's still active. It's possible that the graphics card could be upgraded and the broken DVD-ROM repaired in one go. However, there's a real likelihood that the card can't be upgraded (laptops aren't exactly made for that sort of thing). I have a replacement drive already, so I'm not going to jump and get this drive repaired if the card can't be upgraded.
Lastly, the link of the day is an example of really unique driving technique.
I did some further digging on the manufacturer's site for this computer. The graphics card is NOT replaceable or upgradable on this model, and the DVD-ROM, while replaceable, costs way more than I'm willing to spend.
