Things continue

The morning was spent with a quick trip to the pharmacy for a prescription. Amazingly, we didn't pick up any junk food while in the store.

Most of my afternoon was spent working on and completing the comics for next week. I've been a bit slow on this batch because I wanted Image Puzzle done. In the end I came close to the end of the buffer, but all's well.

That done, I spent the evening playing DFO. I've decided to redo my Fighter as a Brawler. I looked ahead at what skills she'll be able to learn and realized that I wouldn't be using most of them. So I looked at other Fighter subclasses and noticed that I'd get more use out of a Brawler. Note that while I created the new Fighter I did not delete the old character yet.

I've also started a new Priest; he'll be a Crusader. Mainly this will just allow for some extra income and some different abilities; I don't foresee him becoming the favorite over my Monk.

I spent an hour or so this evening copying the contents of the first partition from the external drive to this computer. I also copied the contents of the master backup CD to this computer. I'll be sorting both out in the near future; if it's on the master then it doesn't need to be on the external drive anymore. The master backup is completely sorted out and contains up to 2008. Most of the 22 GB in the first partition of the external drive is stuff from 2004 to 2007; the fact that the master backup contains all of that plus 2008 just shows how redundant and scattered the backups on the hard drive are.

The idea there is to free up lots of space on the external drive. I find it hard to believe that there's really 120 GB worth keeping on there.

Today's link of the day is a wonderful example of someone that has too much free time at work. Some bored person shoved a twinkie into a CT scan.
