Setting up for the future
Posted on September 29th, 2010
The day began with a trip to Target for various things. After getting everything we needed, we headed over to Best Buy to see about getting a radio like mom wants. Their selection was rather poor. There were cheap clock radios, but the shelves were nearly empty and none of them had an equalizer like mom was looking for. The only other radios we found were MP3 player accessories, and that's not what mom wants either. So we left without buying anything.

On the way home we stopped at Subway and picked up lunch. The place was quite hot! Amusingly, we were asked if we wanted a receipt. Not being able to figure out a situation where we'd need to prove we bought sandwiches at Subway, we declined and headed home.

After lunch I did some work on the comic, but soon found myself falling asleep at the computer. In the end I gave up and took a nap for about an hour and a half.

In the evening I spent a little more time working on the comic, but didn't get it done today. It's done enough that I should be able to finish it easily tomorrow.

During the day mom and I discussed her getting her own website for her journal. She wants to continue having a public blog but also wants to leave LJ. We talked about it to a large extent, and I believe I can do the coding easily enough. I'll start on it tomorrow sometime. After all, it's not much different than this blog.

I spent the last few hours watching the DFO anime and playing DFO. The main goal for today's game was to get my Slayer as close to the class upgrade as I could. I reached about 1/3 of the way past level 17, so tomorrow he should become his subclass. The anime however looks like it'll be annoying from this point on. You see, all of the remaining episodes are hosted by a different service than the previous episodes. This new service is a royal PITA, so I may not get around to watching the rest of the show by October.

Today's link of the day pokes fun at the idea of arranged marriage.
