Rethinking things
Posted on September 20th, 2010
It's a rare day when I sleep in and still get up before my parents. Such was the case today: I got up after 10AM, they got up about half an hour afterwords. Mom went back to sleep after breakfast, leaving me the day alone.

My day was largely spent doing one of two things: I was either working on comics or reworking the plans for the website project. I ran into a snag with how to depict one of the panels in the comic I was working on, but I ended up solving that problem and completed the comic.

One thing I did today that was different was to re-install Guild Wars and take a look around. One of my main beefs with the game was that missions take forever (between 30 minutes to over an hour). Well, today I clocked how long it take me to clear Outer Wall on Master's road in DFO and found that it takes about 25 minutes. The catch is that DFO is a lot less stale combat-wise and makes those 25 minutes worth the time. Encyclopedia Dramatica pretty much covered Guild War's community to the letter; ie, it's not worth playing to be social there!

The other news of the day is that I seem to have been hit with the trots this evening. It's hit rather out of the blue this time, so I'm left surprised and empty.

There are two links for today: the original and a parody. Old Spice recently made what is one of the most bizarre commercials ever. Naturally, this had to be parodied -- though the parody makes more sense!
