|It must be time to get ready for bed; Little one has demanded his pillow already.
My day began with the grocery shopping. The list was short as expected. After all, with these millions of trips it would be downright amazing if there was a lot of stuff to get.
The only thing that held us up was that mom ran into an old friend of hers in the store. They talked about just about everything. Overall, they probably talked for an hour.
Most of my afternoon was spent wrapping up the next batch of comics. After that I focused on the laptop again. It ran so painfully slow I finally gave up hope of trying to reconfigure it.
I tried reformatting and installing XP. As I'd thought it might, the key for her computer's install isn't accepted by my install disc. This means the system was without a viable OS for awhile. I burned the fresh copy of Ubuntu and gave it a try.
Despite the problems I had with getting it to run Linux the other day, Ubuntu 10.4 has no problems at all running on the laptop. Thus I've set up nearly everything. Tomorrow I'll check things and install the remaining bits and pieces, along with the old files and it'll be done!
The evening was spent working on Fur and Faith's new design. A change of organization fixed the layout problems, and everything is in place for the new content.
Lastly, the link for the day proves yet again that even the best and brightest sometimes indulge the wrong urges.
