|Friday Little One went to the vet for a comb out and teeth cleaning. When we picked him up that afternoon we discovered that he'd also had a tooth removed. That meant he'd been under longer than expected, and when we got home he was extremely dizzy and unbalanced. At one point he lost his balance, tumbled into the piano and lay still. I thought he'd died, but he blinked and got back up after a few nerve-wracking moments.
We ended up putting him back in the crate for awhile as he wasn't safe wandering about. When we did let him out for good he was still very dopey and drunk.
Since we couldn't dare allow him to wander on the stairs, we blocked off the stairs, mom slept on the inflatable bed and I slept on the couch.
I thought I got a decent night's sleep, but I spent Saturday groggy. I couldn't draw or write very well, and opted not to try. In the evening I went to make a journal entry but found I couldn't write anything clearly and gave up.
I'm still pretty tired, but today I think I can get back to doing things.
The link for now is an editorial from a while back that talks about a rather tricky issue in a very blunt and honest manner.
