|The day began very early as we wanted to get to SSI as soon as possible. In theory this would allow us to get there and get done quickly. In reality we got there at 9:06 and got to see the person who summoned us there around 11:10. It was incredibly hot there. Poor air circulation and a lot of people in a small area don't make for a comfortable stay.
The visit itself lasted all of 5 minutes.
With that over an done, we headed home by way of the Italian deli.
After lunch we ran a few short errands and then visited our friend. Her cat is letting me pet it for longer periods of time without biting.
We got back home around 2:20, and I spent the rest of the day working on comics. Ultimately I didn't get any done as I ended up fussing over a specific pose I just couldn't get right. Since we've been very busy lately and I've run into trouble otherwise, my buffer is running out quickly. I may wind up putting the strip on hiatus in the near future. On the plus side, Wednesday's comic ends the current storyline and Friday's is just a one-off, so this might be the best time to do so. We have yet more errands and doctor visits to go this week to boot.
Dinner was grilled steak with chips. Granted, it sounds extravagant, but in reality it's not. Think about it; it cost less than $10 a plate.
Today's link of the day is a take on dealing with cats.
