|The day began with a shopping trip. Of particular note it seems that the lactose-free ice cream mom likes is being discontinued. Some items we wanted were out of stock, so we also visited the other grocery store.
During the afternoon I focused on completing the comics. At one point KDE crashed -- something highly abnormal -- but I managed to get them all done and uploaded.
I spent the evening playing Guild Wars as a new character -- a dark skinned blond spellcasting chick. Why a girl? Simple: the male spellcasters tend to either look like a misanthropic teenager that rides in mom's minivan while whining about how miserable and sad his life is OR an old evil-looking crone. Also, gender makes no difference to the game; it's just another customization like the color of your character's hair.
It turns out that spellcasters REALLY do damage. In fact, playing with magic turned out to be much easier than playing with swords. I was going to have my character be a Warrior for their second class as I feared they'd have no offensive ability. Boy, did I call that one wrong. I ended up deciding on Necromancy for their second class instead. Come to the Dark Side -- we have better fashion sense.
Speaking of fashion sense, it turned out that Spiderman and several Jedi caught a crook the other day.
