|Today began with a trip to visit our friend and a trip to the alternate grocery store. Or rather, it started with me saying I was going to stay home and spend the morning on the computer. Then mom mentioned that we needed to stop at the store, and I didn't pass up the opportunity for junk food.
Among other things, I helped our friend with her new laptop by correcting the zip code on her weather gadget and showing her Jamendo, YouTube and Last.fm, none of which she'd ever visited.
She also gave me her old wood-burning set; I see a few possible uses for this in the future, but I'll need to get wood at the Hobby Lobby first.
Lunch was a little experiment: a new brand of pizza. It's about a third of the fat of most pizzas, so I should be able to tolerate it if I'm careful. It turned out to be pretty decent.
The afternoon was spent redesigning the site for my comic. Things are moving right along for that; no issues yet.
At one point I wrote out the scripts for the next batch of comics, though I'm thinking of making a slight edit to them in the morning. Tomorrow and Sunday are supposed to be full of thunderstorms, so I don't know if I'll be able to get them done.
I spent about an hour playing Guild Wars. I didn't do much: two quests, died twice, some trading with NPCs etc. It reminds me of Crusaders of Might and Magic, which is another old favorite.
Today's link of the day is both interesting and rather disturbing: Weird Al has his own YouTube Channel.
