|Today was spent trying to solve several problems with the PC Project. For the most part I think they are ironed out, but I'm not holding my breath. I also made progress with both Necros Cavern and the virtual machine. One big triumph of the day is that I've reach the next milestone on the WCG. My computer has crunched over 100,000 points against AIDS, West Nile and other research projects.
So far the new diet is working out well; no "zoning out" since we started it.
Today also turned out to be full of crazy stuff online.
First off, Furries actually got some good honest press for once. A reporter attended FurFright and was surprised by what she found. Or rather, didn't find.
Another news story of the day asks "Are you an analogue or digital person?". I'm sort of both.
Yet another news story has some insight into the California fires. And al qaeda isn't to blame, despite what Fox has been reporting.
Recently a place called the "Creation Museum" has been causing controvercy. It's basically saying that science is worthless, man lived with dinosaurs and other extremist (and darn weird) Christian ideas. Well, the other magical creatures arn't very happy about this.
Speaking of extremist weirdo Christians, the Phelps bunch just lost a lawsuit over their funeral picketing practices.
If you what some scary stuff this Halloween, check this journal entry made a year ago. Or you could just bowl for cats.
Next up is a Weird Al song animated by JibJab: Do I Creep You Out? Hell yes, and I'm not even the one he's stalking!
For an amusing look at life in the US Armed Forces, take a look at the 213 things Skippy is not allowed to do in the army.
Lastly I ran across a link for the marketing equivalent of what spammers always offer: a way to make it bigger!
