||Working hard or hardly working?

|Today began with a trip to the eye doctor so mom could pick up her new glasses. Afterwords, we visited the bank. Remember last month I picked up Fate: Traitor's Soul and it was broken in box? Well, I followed the online instructions and received a full refund from Encore :) . Today we cashed that refund.
Our next stop was Staples, as dad wanted a certain kind of USB stick and we needed printer paper. They didn't have the stick at a price that beat the online offer dad had found, so we didn't get the stick. I did however, get several games.
We then visited Target for various things. I picked up two more games out of their bargain bin.
The errands done, we headed home. I spent the day working on the new design of the site, though I did make sure everything I bought today works.
Of particular note is the game Puzzle Quest. There's a game for the GP2X and Wiz called Battle Jewels, which is kinda fun but needs some polish. It seems that it's a clone of Puzzle Quest; and to be frank, Puzzle Quest is very polished. I didn't play it long, but it was definitely a good find.
One of the games I bought gave me a little scare. I didn't notice this in the store, but the jewel case was shattered. It's possible it got clobbered by the 64oz Tide bottle during the trip home, but I'm not sure what happened to it. Fortunately the game installed fine and the discs don't appear to be scratched.
During the evening mom ended up getting rather sick, seemingly out of nowhere.
Today's link of the day is just surreal. It seems that Avatar is causing people to develop depression and suicidal thoughts. The reason for this is that the movie was a little too real.
