|The key feature of the day was rain. It poured for a lot of the day, including a few brief claps of thunder. The forecast was for heavy thunderstorms, so I got today's agenda (completing the last comic and doing some code tests) out of the way before lunch. Despite the dire predictions, we only got a few rolls of thunder.
Lunch itself was something of a disaster. I had some canned chili I'd picked up a few days ago. This was a new brand; some health-conscious over priced hippie brand. It was very bland; much like watered down ketchup. It was also sweet. Chili is supposed to taste of lentils and burn as it enters and exits. So epic fail. I then got some pea soup (same brand). It was decent, but Tabachnick's is better and cheaper. Amusingly, the pea soup stood upright like can-shaped cranberry sauce when I dumped it out.
My day was randomly spent on the computer and on the DS. I was expecting today's weather to be very harsh as per the forecast, so my getting off the computer was somewhat overkill when nothing happened.
During one of the spans of time on the computer I worked on the new site.
I rounded out the day with an hour long session of Titan Quest. Several things about the game are making me curious about a certain change of attitude over time. I'll be taking a closer look at this tomorrow or just later when I have the time.
For a change of pace, the link of the day is a series of lateral thinking puzzles and their correct answers.
