|Yesterday mom started losing her voice, and by noon was having problems breathing. So in the afternoon we ran out to the doctors where she was diagnosed with bronchitis. Our next stop was the pharmacy for the new prescriptions and some chips. The chips were for the planned cook out that evening; on grocery day we bought dip but forgot to get anything to go with it!
During the night I woke up sick, thanks either to the large amount of fat from the cookout or the cheddar dip; its seems that whenever I eat cheddar I get sick... but no other cheese has this result.
Today we got our new glasses. While mine seem to be the cat's meow, mom's seem to leave much to be desired. Making things more interesting is their accounting department, which is just asking for an audit.
After that, we went to a nearby grocery store for more cat food, and picked up some low fat soups for my lunch for the next few days.
I spent the day alternating between feeling fine and feeling like I was about to hurl. In the meantime, I worked on the abstraction layer and played Half Life 2. The latter is quickly shifting from linear gameplay to "where the frack am I supposed to go next?" to Guide Dang It.
The abstraction layer's Bitmap class is working perfectly. The fun will begin tomorrow as I'll start work on the widget class and its descendants.
The link for today and yesterday is a site that documents the use of a font. This font is so common that it can be found anywhere, and they've got photos to prove it: Papyrus Watch.
