|This morning began with errands. We stopped at several places, and bought lunch from the deli on the way home.
I picked up the famous Orange Box. I've been debating about this one for years, as it requires Steam to activate. If Steam ever goes away, these games are going to be unplayable. On the plus side, I think this is probably more likely than not, seeing how many people play these games. Also, Valve seems to care about their customers a great deal compared to other groups.
I also picked up another game I've been debating about. When I went to install it, I discovered it has that lovely bit of software called SecuROM protecting it. It won't let me install it. I jumped through the support hoops to see if they could fix it, and got an interesting result: that game's CDs are bad a lot of the time and that's why the false positive happens. Fortunately the manufacturer has a refund policy.
During the day I also completed two comics.
Lastly, to celebrate the purchase of the Orange Box, here's a video of some Team Fortress 2 insanity.
