Eye exam and more
Posted on March 16th, 2010
This morning mom and I went and had our eyes examined. My eyes varied widely in their abilities. Using the left eye I could make out all of the close range chart and most of the distance chart, but using the right eye neither chart was legible. That's correct: the right eye wasn't able to clearly make out the largest letter on the chart. Mr. Magoo indeed.

All told, this took two hours. Most of that was time spent waiting. They seem to have a lot of problems when it comes to being organized.

The trip home was interesting. While I was largely unaffected by the eye drops, mom was practically blinded. When we got home she pulled all of the shades and took a nap.

During the afternoon and early evening I coded up a program and nearly completed it. It'll need some further spit and polish before release.

Dinner was different. Mom was still having issues seeing clearly, so we opted to order pizza. This is also known as the Andy Fox solution, as she's been known to use it.

Lastly, here's an amazing music video called This Too Shall Pass.
